Prolific Pl 2303 Ra Driver Reviews
For the most part, I have been pleased with the StarTech products I have purchase. However, I continue to fight this device and it's functionality in Windows 10. With the Prolific drivers I have been able to get this working and identify the chipset as PL-2303 RA which is listed as supported on WIndows 10. Currently it is hit or miss, as to if the connected USB is correctly identified and linked to the device/driver instance. At this point, I can't tell if it's poor drivers or a counterfeit chip. Very disappointing and a frustrating waist of time and money!I have a similar product (Null Modem USB to Serial) from StartTech with a FTDI chipset.. It has worked flawlessly. I will be investigating a standard USB to Serial adapter utilizing the FTDI chipset in hopes of having a stable product when needed.
